"As a promoter, we don't care what she's won because she does a great job of getting media, fans and selling tickets," said Illana Kloss, the chief executive of World Team Tennis. "And those are the things that really matter."

The sound of camera shutters rapidly opening and closing creates a white noise whenever she is on the court. The images of the woman who won a pair of Grand Slam doubles titles but never lived up to others' expectations, however, aren't all snapshots of moments capturing her athletic ability.

One fan steadies his camera phone and clicks a picture just as Kournikova bends over to adjust her shoe. "Yes!" he says as his girlfriend laughs in amusement.

Afterward, a long, winding line of children await their turn to collect her autograph, the occasional adult trying hard to camouflage himself in the mix. While the other players head to the locker room, Kournikova pulls up a chair and scribbles something resembling her name until everyone is satisfied.

Has anyone ever looked better in a tennis outfit (we are so grateful for those short white skirts)? Not likely -- Anna Kournikova is sculpted like a goddess. The tennis court was her stage, where she simultaneously (and successfully) flirted with and stunned thousands of admirers. This Russian pinup had the power of filling up arenas when she was scheduled to play. How many women can be credited with the same feat?

Men's magazines like FHM always have included her among the hottest women, and she was named Sexiest Woman in the World in FHM's 100 Sexiest Girls poll in 2002. Her sex appeal has also managed to sell calendars, and the Sports Illustrated issue with Anna Kournikova on the cover was one of the highest-selling issues the magazine has ever published. So it looks like Anna Kournikova's sexiness is unanimous: it doesn't get much hotter than her.

Im not really too sure why but I still class Anna Kournikova as a previously good tennis player, so thought I better continue to write about her new crazy antics off court. Kournikova always seems close to trouble and when she was on tour she wasnt very liked and know as being a bitch.

Kournikova was in the headlines again this week because she was involved in a bit of a bar brawl in Las Vegas. Kournikova wasnt really in a brawl it was more of a woman throwing a drink over here. Knowing Kournikova she most probably had a bit of a run in with the woman and then probably mouthed off knowing that she would have a lot of people around her to protect her. Kournikova really needs to grow up and get over herself!
